Having amassed a formidable body of work as Acid Fountain and in experimental groups JUJU and Pointe Du Lac, the Hylé Tapes head works under his given name for the 11th installment of our UNDERGROWTH series. A conceptual masterpiece in two parts, UDG 0.11 recalls the early synth environments of pioneers like Tangerine Dream and Terry Riley, with modern interpretations of sci-fi, deep thought meditation and extraterrestrial exploration. If inner and outer consciousness are in fact dependent on one another, "01112012" is a pathway to both, exclusively from JUNGLE GYM.RAN$OM NOTE: bit.ly/2sTlTYv $(".tralbum-about").last().bcTruncate(TruncateProfile.get("tralbum_about"), "more", "less"); credits released February 6, 2017 mastered by RICHARD FRANCÉSphoto EMILIA BARNIER $(".tralbum-credits").last().bcTruncate(TruncateProfile.get("tralbum_long"), "more", "less"); license all rights reserved tags Tags experimental ambient drone noise outsider-house psychedelic soundscape synth Los Angeles Shopping cart total USD Check out about JUNGLE GYM RECORDS Los Angeles, California

In 2010, Juju released Request, a tribute album featuring covers of songs by Japanese female vocalists. Led by a cover of My Little Lover's "Hello, Again (Mukashi Kara Aru Basho)", the album was certified double platinum and became Juju's most successful album in her career.[3][4] In 2014 to celebrate the 10th year since her debut with Sony, she released a follow-up album to this, Request II.

In 2011 and 2013, Juju released albums compiling her renditions of jazz standards, Delicious and Delicious: Juju's Jazz 2nd Dish. In 2012, Juju released an MTV Unplugged album, featuring a live concert recorded in New York. In 2013, Juju recorded Gift, a live concert album collaborating with the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.

No T-Shirts (Skit) 01:36 16. Still Time (LP Dub) 05:13 about Finally, the wait is over. We present the long-awaited long player from the Slavic spiritual warrior Vakula. Selected over a three year period from his more afro-cosmic and experimental ethnic material, You've Never Been To Konotop is an ambitious and sprawling work. Not content with merely replicating an analogue sound from the golden age of house and techno, V pushes it as far as possible, combining elements of Ukrainian folk melodies, esoteric cryptic rhythm patterns, field recordings, interludes and overgrown organic effects hidden beneath acres of cosmic murk. And yet somehow he still ties it together with a dub-wise production to arrive at a sound that's uniquely and deftly his own. For those lucky enough to catch him playing records in a club environment, then this body of work documents his journey into a deeper, freer and more cosmic sound with a healthy disregard for trend and novelty. For fans of the Shevchenko series and the more audacious selectors, these works are the ultimate companion, veering off at wild angles and dubbed out beyond recognition. As usual, no Firecracker release would be complete without unique hand-drawn, silk screened artwork. Look out for variations and different colour ways across the limited vinyl pressing - very special indeed. There will be ONLY ONE press of this record. $(".tralbum-about").last().bcTruncate(TruncateProfile.get("tralbum_about"), "more", "less"); credits released August 5, 2013 All tracks written & produced by M. The Beatnuts (sometimes called Street Level) is the debut studio album by American hip hop group The Beatnuts, released in June 21, 1994 on Relativity Records. Recording sessions for the album occurred at LGK Studios in Leonia, New Jersey, and Soundtrack Studios and Greene St. Recording in New York City from May 1993 to March 1994. It was released one year after the release of their debut EP, Intoxicated Demons. The album was produced predominantly by The Beatnuts, with contributions by V.I.C. and Lucien. It features guest appearances by Grand Puba, Gab Gotcha and Miss Jones. The album is known for its diverse production and hedonistic lyrics.

The album's title is sometimes mistakenly referred to as Street Level as the words appear on the album cover, but the words "Street Level" do not appear anywhere else on the album's liner notes or the spine label. Members of the group have referred to the album as Street Level in interviews.[1]

The Beatnuts peaked at #182 on the Billboard 200, and #28 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. Two singles were released for the album: "Hit Me with That" and "Props Over Here", with the latter peaking at #39 on the Hot Rap Singles chart. It is the last album by The Beatnuts before Kool Fashion left the group to pursue a solo career under the alias Al' Tariq.

Last year, the great New Jersey rap enigma Mach-Hommy released two albums, Pray For Haiti and Balens Cho (Hot Candles), and you could actually hear those albums on streaming services when the came out. This was not the way Mach-Hommy normally does things. Over the past few years, Mach-Hommy has treated most of his releases as precious commodities. He tends to keep them off of streaming services, selling them instead on his website for astronomical amounts of money. This year, Mach is back to paywalling his new music, but you can still hear some of it without dropping a car payment.

Their venture into Post-Punk territory further solidified their fan base, which now extended across the Atlantic. In the ensuing years, they produced a string of memorable singles and hit albums. And in 1981, with the release of their fourth album, Juju, they laid the groundwork and became an important influence in the fledgling Goth genre. 2ff7e9595c
